Accommodation with a family tradition: Since 1985 the Tarangire Safari Lodge has been operated by the Simonson family, who have accomplished a very special touch here. An arched thatched roof covers the centre of the lodge, the lounge and the dining room. To the side there is a clear view over the landscape, which allows a cool breeze to ventilate the interior. The comfortable lounge, a refreshing pool, a boutique and a massage room ensure the well-being of the guests.

You can spend the night in sturdy tents with foundations, thatched roofs and bathrooms. Or you can decide on a night in circular bungalows. The thick walls and thatched roofs keep the interiors pleasantly cool. A personal bathroom with a shower and running warm water provides additional comfort.
The Tarangire Safari Lodge is situated in one of the most popular national parks. Wildlife fans will get what they’re looking for: on the steep banks of the Tarangire river the animals can be seen from breathtakingly close proximity. Lined by acacias and baobab trees, the river attracts great elephant herds. In the park you will also encounter unrivalled birdlife.
